Mission
Finding the questions that close loops in biology and healthcare.
We work with government and defense partners, universities, hospitals, startups, established corporations, labs, and scientific experts to find the unclosed loops in biology and healthcare — the questions that can unlock better diagnostics, better interventions, and longer, healthier lives.
Healthspan and longevity
Our mission is to find the questions that matter for healthspan and longevity, then build the right vehicle around them: a novel experiment, an expert consortium, validated data infrastructure, or a company spinout.
The operating logic underneath
We believe the operating logic is often already present beneath the biological system. Our work is to find it, close the loop, and make it actionable.
Team
The E.D.E.N. Atlantic team combines 25,000+ Google Scholar citations with more than two decades of shared history across AI, bioinformatics, genomics infrastructure, research translation, and company formation.
Scientific leadership includes a founder and lead developer of the GeneMark family of genome-annotation tools. GeneMark software is part of genome-annotation pipelines used by NIH NCBI for prokaryotes and DOE JGI for eukaryotes, among others.
Across prior work, team members have worked with organizations including NIH, DOE, CDC, Georgia Institute of Technology, Emory University, Pathway Genomics, and major corporate partners.
